Tibetan Horizons: Revisit the Tradition

In partnership with the Sweet Tea House Galleryc(London) and J Bastien Art (Brussels) the exhibition will bring together artists from Lhasa and from abroad, questioning the links between tradition and contemporary art.

In collaboration with Villa Empain and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Liège,

The group exhibition Mapping Identity, curated by Carol Solomon and Janet Yoon has been such a success. Gonkar is showing his print work of The Shambala of the Modern Times (2008) together with other artists alike of Mona Hatoum, Do-Ho Suh and Fariba Alam.

Earlier this month, we had another opening for Gonkar's group show at Galarie Sherin Najjar in Berlin. The show is the inaugural exhibition by the new gallery directed by art historian and gallerist Dr. Sherin Najjar, and includes impressive line up of Contemporary Artists whose works consider the idea of languages.

Another opening at the Jan Murphy Gallery, Brisbane

We luckily had another opening of a show "Two Voices" with Huang Xu at the Jan Murphy Gallery in Brisbane, to coincide with the APT at the Queensland Art Gallery.

Huang Xu is known for his photography works of plastic bags (as seen in the photos below). They even look like fires, don't they?
Definitely someone to keep an eye on!

Gonkar exhibited his print works of the past two years.

The show is organised by China Art Project.
